Science and health program for Native American youth to shut down in Northern Arizona
PHOENIX – Lab coats hung on hooks and cabinets gave way to tall ceilings above typical blacktopped science tables. The windows framed Flagstaff’s canopy of trees and mountains in the distance.
The room was cluttered with expensive scientific equipment, pipettes and an abundance of gloves. Instead of food, the freezer contained cell cultures and isolated DNA samples. It smelled clean and had everything needed for a fully functional lab.

High suicide rates in ‘tough guy’ construction trade prompt industry to start talking
PHOENIX – Eating only a banana for breakfast, Francisco Gomez, 28, starts his five- to six-day workweek at 5 a.m.
“Work can be pretty stressful,” Gomez said. “There’s just so much pressure, you feel like things are your fault and you feel like you can’t do nothing about it.”
Gomez, a father of two, has worked in construction for about five years as a fire stopper, filling gaps between rooms and spraying fire retardants to help prevent fires.

By talking to scientists, chiefs, and mushroom lovers alike, we will learn about mycelium, and how their unique traits and almost mystical qualities are an untapped tool in our ecosystem, and offer more climate answers than research even knows.

After a set of delays due to Hollywood labor disputes the film finally premiered with many unique looks from the cast including
Zendaya in Vintage Mugler and Florence Pugh in Valentino. Juli and I discussed the highlights of the premier and the best dressed; while also talking about some of the weirder more memorable looks that walked the carpet.
